Who are we? MB Endurance Sport, LLC, was founded in 2009 by Doug MacLean (Boulder, CO) and Ethan Brown (Lowell, MA). MacLean and Brown met through the University of Michigan Triathlon Club in 2007. With both of them interested in pursuing careers as professional triathletes and coaches, Brown turned pro when he graduated and began focusing on ITU events, while MacLean moved to Colorado to pursue a coaching internship at Carmichael Training Systems and to work towards achieving his professional status in long-course racing. Together, these two can offer one of the most well-rounded coaching programs available. While both Brown and MacLean are open to coaching any distance athlete, Brown specializes in short-course and MacLean specializes in long-course. Single sport athletes are welcome to work with MB Endurance Sport as well. Brown’s background is in competitive swimming and distance running, and he will work either types of those of athletes. MacLean specializes in cycling and has an incredibly strong (and scientific) knowledge base for helping athletes increase their power and performance on the bike. The bottom line is that MB Endurance Sport has the commitment and the ability to help you become the best endurance athlete you can be.
